ABOUT US

 

We are a couple from the Black River, Michigan area. We are trying to make a long time dream come true. That is to bring great southern style BBQ to everyone that we possibly can. We finally had the opportunity to buy a food Truck and complete our dreams of not only traveling and working for ourselves, but to do what we really enjoy doing, and that is cooking BBQ!! Also we must admit to meeting wonderful people along the way. I (Rj) have lived in the south and I guess that is where some of influence of BBQ comes from, but the majority of it comes from a deeper love of just cooking it my way and seeing people enjoy eating it. That is the best reward that we could ever receive. Our deep love of Blues, BBQ, and riding our Harley has everything to do with our name for our business. It came from our dear friends from Canada. John & Wanda were on a trip with us in North Carolina/Tennessee. We were riding the beautiful roads in the area all day, and came back to our camp to cook a little dinner. We broke out some ribs and threw them on our grill. We were enjoying the night just listening to some blue’s as always, and a few drinks of course. By the time the ribs were done; you guessed it, it was Midnight. It didn’t take much thought when it was time to come up with a name for our BBQ business, when you have such fond memories made on such a Great trip with Great friends.
